Are you threeD?

The world of 3D computer graphics has always allured me. It's just unbelievable to watch on web what people achieve using a number of very high end software. Though most of these software are heavy and take lot of time to learn and then master the skills required to design something respectable, Google has developed a small software called Google Sketchup Pro and has released its latest version, version 8. Now a days a number of plug-ins are also being launched to enhance the inherent capabilities of  the original software. You can download numerous ready made 3D models from Google Sketchup's Online Warehouse where enthusiasts post their creations. I found this link on www.softarchive.net (which itself is a fantastic site to download movies, software, audio albums, graphics, e-books and also the "unmentionables"). This link also provides the V-Ray plug-in. The software is also available on Google's site but pro version is not likely to be free. So download this software part by part and then extract the first part. The other parts will be extracted automatically (but be sure to keep them in the same folder as the first part).

Go ahead and explore your creative third dimension.
